This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner/ A1, in Crime No.92 of 2018 on the file of Kaikaluru Police Station, Krishna District. The offences alleged are under Sections 354D, 417 IPC and Sections 3(2)(va) of SC ST (POA) Act, 1961.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The allegations against the petitioner are that when one Thota Pavithra went to the petitioner to report about the abuse that was meted out by her father to her mother, the petitioner took her phone number and he has been calling on the said phone and expressing that he is loving her and that he would marry her and is forcing her for his sexual desire. 4.

The nature of the allegations, prima facie, would constitute the offences alleged against the petitioner. Hence, this court opines that this is not a fit case for quashing the proceedings. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
