The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondentpolice are not acting on the representation dated 23-06-2018 made by the petitioner with regard to conducting enquiry in Cr.No.706 of 2017, dated 27-07-2017.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on written instructions submits that Cr.No.706 of 2017 was enquired into and charge-sheet was filed on 27-07-2018. It is also stated that on the representation made by the petitioner dated 23-06-2018, the 5th respondent was added as accused in Cr.No.706 of 2017. As far as complaint of the petitioner dated 02-07-2018, is concerned, GD entry was made and enquiry is going on.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to take action on the complaint made by the petitioner dated 02-07-2018 in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Apex Court in the judgment of Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
