HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN Contempt Case No.2044 of 2018 Judgment:

Though the petitioner has come up with a contempt petition as against the learned Trial Judge on the ground that he is proceeding with the hearing of the matter despite a stay order, I think for the present it would be suffice to clarify that the petitioner is entitled to the benefit of the stay order. The stay order originally granted was not limited to any period. Therefore, if there is any misunderstanding, the learned Trial Judge should ask for clarification, but cannot go against the interim order. With this clarification, this contempt case is closed.
