This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the official respondents not to give electricity connections to the unofficial respondents' houses and others, who are encroachers of Korlapadu Channel Irrigation Bund.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the purpose of filing the writ petition has become infructuous. 3.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
