This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the order of attachment attaching the immovable property of the petitioner in question and in issuing sale proclamation and fixing the date as 20-08-2018 for drawing the proclamation of sale for recovery of ESI contributions from the tenant of the petitioner, who is admittedly not an owner of the property in question.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondents.

Learned standing counsel for the respondents produced a copy of the order dated 13-08-2018 passed by the 2nd respondent withdrawing the order of attachment of immovable property of the petitioner in question. It is also stated that inasmuch as the petitioner filed this writ petition assailing the attachment order and the consequent proclamation of sale, and now that the attachment order is withdrawn, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for

adjudication and no further orders need to be passed in the writ petition.

Recording the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
