The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents 3 and 4 in not registering the petitioner's report dated 27.02.2017 against the 5th respondent, as First Information Report as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently, direct respondents 3 and 4 to register First Information Report based on the petitioner's report dated 27.02.2017.

As there was no representation on either side on 11.04.2017, the matter was directed to be listed after Summer Vacation, 2017. Even today, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home brought to the notice of this Court that a case in Crime No.121 of 2017 of Narayanaguda Police Station, came to be registered against respondent No.5 on 22.03.2017, for the offences punishable under Sections 323 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

That being the position, further adjudication of the matter would not arise. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed.
