Heard. With the consent of both counsel, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not transferring the petitioner from District Agricultural Officer, Medak District, HQ at Medak to District Agricultural Officer, Sanga Reddy District, HQ at Sangareddy on spouse grounds in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.182, General Administration (SPF & MC) Dept., dt.21.05.2016 and Circular Memo No.1695/SPF-MC/2014 dt.24.12.2016 issued by the 1st respondent as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the instructions issued by the Government from time to time and consequently to direct the respondents to transfer the petitioner forthwith from District Agricultural Officer, Medak District, HQ at Medak to District Agricultural Officer, Sanga Reddy District, HQ at Sanga Reddy.

Petitioner was earlier posted in Medak District, before reorganization of districts and was posted in headquarters of Medak District at Sanga Reddy. After re-organization of the districts, it appears since petitioner was working in headquarters of the district, he was transferred and posted to the headquarters of Medak which is now changed to Medak from Sanga Reddy. Petitioner now requests for transfer to Sanga Reddy on the ground that his wife is working in Sanga Reddy as Secondary Grade Teacher. Since petitioner was recently posted in Medak, no direction can be granted at this stage.

Prima-facie, as seen from the orders issued in G.O.No.182 dated 21.05.2016, the same is not attracted since petitioner is working in the same zone and to the post of Senior Assistant, zone is the unit, whereas the G.O., is applicable only to inter cadre transfer.

Thus, leaving it open to the petitioner to prosecute the remedies with the department, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
