Respondents Counsel for the Petitioner : Mr.Peela Raman for Mr.R.Mangulal Counsel for Respondent Nos.1 to 4 : A.G.P. for Home (TS) THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:

CVNR, J & JUD, J W.P.No.19246 of 2017 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus by directing respondent Nos.2 to 4 to produce the wife of petitioner by name Smt. Anu Sri (alleged detenue) before this Court and hand over her custody to the petitioner.

The alleged detenue has been produced before this Court by the police. At the hearing, she has informed the Court that though she has married the petitioner, in view of the torture she has suffered at his hands, she is not willing to join the company of the petitioner and that she is staying with her parents on her own volition.

Having regard to the aforementioned views expressed by the alleged detenue, the plea of the petitioner that she has been forcibly detained by respondent No.5 has no basis.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed.

As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, WPMP Nos.23430 and 23431 of 2017 filed by the petitioner for interim relief are disposed of as infructuous.
