ORDER

In spite of the matter being listed under the caption for dismissal, none appears for the petitioner and no representation is made on his behalf.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submits that challenging the approval of the appointment of the 5th respondent, the present writ petition is filed and that during pendency of the writ petition, the 5th respondent had attained the age of superannuation and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
