THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39359 OF 2016 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the third respondent in not registering the complaint dated 06.03.2016, which is received by the third respondent by Registered Post on 11.03.2016, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct the third respondent to register the crime against the respondents 4 to 8 and investigate the same. Heard and perused the material.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner sent the complaint, dated 06.03.2016, through Registered Post and that though the third respondent received the same on 11.03.2016, he has not registered the same against the respondents 4 to 8. Hence, he prays this Court to direct the third respondent to register the case against the respondents 4 to 8 and take action against them. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner against the respondents 4 to 8, if it discloses any cognizable offence, and conduct effective investigation and file final report, if any, in accordance with law. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall also stand disposed of. _____________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO 15.11.2016 pln
