The case of the petitioners is that they are the owners and are in possession and enjoyment of lands admeasuring Ac.1-00, Ac.0-33 guntas and Ac.0-32 guntas in Survey Nos.598 and 599 situated at Mamunuru Village, Yerrupalem Mandal, Khammam District, since 1976 by virtue of assignment granted by the Government. In pursuance of the same, they made applications on 16-04-2016 in Form-VI (A) of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') for issuance of pattadar passbooks and title deeds. As no action has been taken, the present Writ Petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Since it is stated that the applications filed by the petitioners are in Form VI (A) of the Act and the same are pending before the 3rd respondent, it is for the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the same. Accordingly, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the applications filed by the petitioners in Form VI (A), in accordance with law, and take action accordingly within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J June 28, 2016 MD
