ORDER:

The petitioners claim to be the members of founder family of group of temples within the radius of 3 kilometers from Mahanandi. The petitioners are aggrieved by the notification issued on 06.08.2015 calling for applications for enlistment as members of the Board of Trustees for Sri Vishnu Nandeeswara Swamy Temple (Krishnanandi), Bandi Atmakur Village and Mandal.

The petitioners state that they have submitted applications for consideration of their candidature for appointment as members of the Board of Trustees from the category of members of the founder family and apprehend that they are not likely to be considered due to local considerations and in such an event, grave prejudice would be caused to them.

2. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that the petitioners are only interested in consideration of their applications for enlistment as members of the Board of Trustees, belonging to the founder family and they have no other grievance with reference to the notification issued on 07.08.2015.

3. Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Deputy Commissioner of Endowments, Endowments Department, Kurnool District (5th respondent) to consider the applications of the petitioners for enlistment as

members of the Board of Trustees as per the claim of the petitioners that they belong to the founder family while appointing the Board of Trustee in consequent to the notification issued on 07.08.2015. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
