This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri VEROSE SANJANA, Advocate for the Petitioner, Public Prosecutor, on behalf of the Respondent No.1 and None appeared for the Respondent No.2 The Court made the following: ORDER
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No.1O936 OF 2023 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioner/Accused No.l to quash the proceedings against him in C.C.No.4 of 2023, on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Judge at Hanmakonda, Hanmakonda District. The offences alleged against him are punishable under Section 42O r lw. 34 of Indian Penal Code and Section 5 of TS Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishment Act, 1999 2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner - Accused No.1 ald learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the prosecution has falsely claimed that this petitioner ls Chairman of Sudadri Chit Funds Private Limited and in fact, he has documents to prove that this petitioner has nothing to do with the said firm which collected deposits and he is not
the Chairman of the firm. The said aspects can be agitated before the trial Court.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Needless to say, in the event of the petitioner filing a_n application seeking discharge, if charges a-re not framed, the concerned Court shall dispose of the same after hearing both sides, within a period of four (04) weeks.
Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
