Heard Mr.Pulla Rao Yellanki for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader (Home) for respondents.

The contempt case is filed against the respondents under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act for willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 07.11.2017 in W.P. No.24876 of 2017.

The stand of the 1st respondent in the counter affidavit reads as follows:

"It is humbly submitted that in the enquiry it is clearly disclosed that the dispute of the petitioner herein is purely civil in nature and the Hon'ble High Court in its order in W.P.No.2894 of 2008 directed the petitioners herein to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer by way of filing appeal. It is also revealed in the enquiry that no one has behaved rashly with the petitioner. It is completely civil in nature and hence the respondent police are not interfering in the civil disputes. The complaint of the petitioner herein was disposed of by way of issuing a letter dated 13.11.2017 through Regd. Post. The petitioner herein also acknowledged the same. But, however, he filed the present contempt case.

I humbly submit that I have not disobeyed the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court. In fact, I have complied with the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court by way of issuance of letter dated 13.11.2017 to the petitioner through Regd. Post. It is humbly submitted that this Hon'ble Court in its order dated 7.11.2017 categorically stated that "the petitioner on receipt of communication from respondent Nos.3 and 4 is given liberty to work remedies in accordance with law."
