S.Nagaraju S/O Sivanna, v. The State Of Telangana, Rep. By Its Principal Secretary,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NOs.15462, 15562 AND 15604 OF 2017 COMMON ORDER:
1.
Petitioners in these three Writ Petitions are Field Assistants. By orders dated 02.05.2016, 02.05.2016 and 20.05.2013 respectively, the petitioners were placed under suspension. Simultaneously, they were asked to submit explanations. The grievance of the petitioners necessitating institution of these Writ Petitions is that disciplinary proceedings are not concluded and kept pending for no fault of them and their suspensions are not revoked causing them undue hardship and suffering. 2.
When the matters are taken up, learned Special Standing Counsel representing the respondents submits that disciplinary proceedings would be completed within four weeks. 3.
Having regard to such submission, the counsel for the petitioners agreed for disposal of the Writ Petitions fixing time limit to conclude the disciplinary proceedings.
4.
All the three Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the third respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If, for any reason, the disciplinary proceedings are not concluded and the delay is not attributable to the petitioners, their suspensions shall be revoked. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
