HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION NO.5822 of 2008 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the 1st respondent in issuing demand notice dated 15.2.2008 for payment of property tax arrears from 1.4.1993 to 31.3.2008 from the petitioners lessees of the 2nd respondent representing the Government of Andhra Pradesh under threat of attachment of moveable items in shops of the petitioners as illegal and arbitrary.

Sri V. Satyam Reddy, learned standing counsel for the 1st respondent, based on written instructions, submitted that the R&B Department has paid property tax to the municipal corporation. Both the counsel submits that in view of the above written instructions, no further orders are necessary. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed as no further orders are necessary. No order as to costs.
