HON'BLE THE CHI EF JUSTI CE SRI THOTTATHI L B. RADHAKRI SHNAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE V.RAMASUBRAMANI AN W.P.No.26743 of 2018 ORDER: (per VRSJ) Challenging Regulation 3.30 as well as the rejection of affiliation for admission to B.Tech (EEE) course for an intake of 60 students for the academic year 2018-2019, the petitioners have come up with the above writ petition.

2. Heard Mr. Sricharan Telaprolu, learned counsel for the petitioners. Mr. A. Abhishek Reddy, learned counsel takes notice for respondents 1 and 3 and learned Government Pleader for Education (TG) takes notice for respondent No.2.

3. Today no relief can be granted to the petitioner for the simple reason that the cut off date for admission is already over by 31.07.2018. Though, the learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the university had extended the deadline for making spot admissions up to 03.08.2018, the same concerns only to the leftover seats, after sliding is permitted among the students who are already admitted to an affiliated course. It is not possible for the petitioner now to put the clock back and get the relief. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed. there shall be no order as to costs.

4. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
