HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.20660 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to direct respondents to regularize the services of petitioners as Grade-II drivers in view of their completion of 240 days of continuous service in a calendar year and consequently to declare the action of respondents in taking steps to disengage petitioners from service, as violative of Section 25-F & 2(oo) of Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 and further direct respondents to pay all attendant benefits on par with regular Grade-II drivers. This Court granted interim direction as prayed for on 25.09.2003 in WPMP No.25866 of 2003 directing respondents to continue petitioners subject to availability of work in preference to their Juniors in the same category. Advocate for petitioners submitted that interim direction is complied with and no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. Considering the same, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of interim order. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
