Petitioner complains against inaction in disposing of representation dated 22.10.2016 as illegal and amounts to refusing to exercise the jurisdiction vested in 4th respondent. 2.

Narender Reddy, learned standing counsel representing 4th respondent-Gram Panchayat, submits that basing on instructions, the subject matter is part of an unauthorized layout, the 4th respondent is under legal obligation to examine the grievance and takes decision in accordance with law. The statement is placed on record.

The Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing 4th respondent to examine the representation dated 22.10.2016, afford opportunity to 5th respondent as well and take within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order steps required in the facts and circumstances of the case and pass orders. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
