THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.7976 of 2017 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed by accused No.1, under Sections 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., seeking bail in Crime No.23 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Chinturu Police Station, East Godavari District, for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 2.

At the time of hearing, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the trial court to dispose of the main case as early as possible. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court is inclined to go into merits of the main case.

Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed of. The trial Court is hereby directed to dispose of the main case as expeditiously as possible.
