THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.10175 OF 2013 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is preferred by the petitioners seeking to declare the action of the first respondent in not allowing the petitioners to appear for written test/interview for selection and appointment to the posts of Clerks, as illegal and arbitrary.

On 04.04.2013, while issuing notice before admission, this Court gave certain directions to the 1st respondent with regard to advertisement to be made to the post of clerks. However, no interim order was passed in favour of the petitioners. In the absence of any interim order, in favour of the petitioners, the entire process of selection might have been completed by now and nothing further survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Therefore, the Writ Petition is closed. However, if any fresh cause of action arises, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the same, in accordance with law.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
