HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.26764 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This petition is filed challenging the action of the respondent police in interfering with the civil disputes of the petitioner and also pressurizing the petitioner's family members to settle the matrimonial disputes by paying Rs.1 crore to the 5th respondent without any legal cause.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that the complaint of the 5th respondent against the petitioner was forwarded to the Chairman, Mandal Legal Service Committee, as per the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P. (2017 (2) ALD (Crl.) 568; and that as on today no crime is registered against the petitioner. The other allegations made by the petitioner are denied. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent police not to interfere with the civil dispute and also not to pressurise the petitioner to pay the amounts. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
