O R D E R
Based on the report lodged by the petitioner that accused kidnapped his father, case in Cr.No.75 of 2018 under Section 365 of IPC was registered on 4.7.2018 on the file of 3rd respondent - Station House Officer / Sub Inspector of Police, Bellampally Town Police Station, Mancherial District. Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not taking action on the above said crime, present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of the 3rd respondent dated 31.07.2018 stating that investigation is in progress and it takes some time for completing the investigation. Learned counsel producing copy of the statement of the petitioner's father, recorded by the police on 04.08.2018, submits that as per the said statement, the father of the petitioner is traced, and that further investigation will be completed and appropriate report will be filed before the court.
Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the same, but submits that investigation shall be carried out and appropriate action shall be taken against the accused.
Recording the above statement made in the written instructions and the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, writ petition is disposed of.
However, the 3rd respondent shall complete the investigation in accordance with law and file appropriate report before the court concerned.
Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
