THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.1154 OF 2013 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking to direct the Station House Officer, Malkajgiri Police Station, to conduct investigation in crime No.362 of 2012, as early as possible.

No representation for the petitioner.

Heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader of Home for respondents.

It is to be noted that the crime is registered in the year 2012 for the offences punishable under Sections 447 and 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code.

Learned AGP, on instructions, submits that by now the respondents-Police must have filed final report in the matter. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents-Police to file final report in crime No.362 of 2012, if not already filed, within a period of three to six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
