THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 7299 OF 2015 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.2 and learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.1. 2.

The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under: " ....to issue a direction, order or writ more particularly in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 1st Respondent in issuing Public Notice dated 27.2.2015 inviting applications for recognition in Teacher Training Courses from the academic year 2016-2017 from the State of Andhra Pradesh by ignoring the 2nd Respondent's Lr. Rc .No.17/ B/ TE/ AP/ SCERT/ 2015 dated: NIL dispatched on 25.2.2015 to the 1st Respondent as arbitrary, illegal, contrary to the NCTE (Recognition, Norms & Procedure) Regulations, 2014, NCTE Act, violative of Article 14 and 19 (1) (g) of the Constitution of India and for consequential relief of setting aside the Impugned Public Notice dated 27.2.2015 in so far as it is made applicable to the State of Andhra Pradesh."

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners informs the Court that the matter has become infructuous for the reason that the relief sought is for the academic year 2016-2017.

Taking the said submission into consideration, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the Writ Petition. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
