THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION NO.29074 OF 2012 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not adding 2 marks for the gap period after competing the ITI examination interms of paragraph 9 (A)(ii) of the notification, dated 05.01.2011 and supplementary notification dated 17.10.2011, as illegal and arbitrary.

This Court on 17.09.2012 in W.P.M.P.No.37111 of 2012 passed interim order directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners by adding 2 extra marks under this weightage parameter taking into account the year of their passing the qualifying examination as evidenced by their certificates and consider them in the selection process for appointment as Junior Plant Attendants.

Learned Standing counsel Smt K.Udaysree appearing for respondents on instructions submits that in terms of the aforesaid interim order, the case of the petitioners was considered and petitioners 1 and 3 were appointed. As far as the petitioners 2 and 4 is concerned, their case could not be considered as they have secured marks less than the cut off mark.

Both the counsel stated that the writ petition can be disposed of recording the same.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in the writ petition, shall stand closed. ___________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 04.01.2017 dv
