This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/Accused, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash F.I.R.No.798 of 2012 on the file of Saroornagar Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offence punishable under Section 24 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

The learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana representing respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the investigating agency had completed the investigation and filed the charge-sheet before the Court concerned and the calendar case was registered as C.C.No.511 of 2013. In that view of the matter, the question of quashing the FIR does not arise at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand dismissed.
