THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.13371 of 2011 ORDER:

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue pattadar passbooks and title deeds in respect of the land of an extent of Acs.2.28 cents in D.No.568/A and Acs.2.27 cents in D.No.568/B of Muthukumalli Village, Savalyapuram Mandal in Prakasam District.

The petitioner claims to have purchased the said land in the year 1983 from one Sri Mundru Peraih, S/o.Venkatappaiah, and others for adequate consideration. However no document was executed by the vendors, but the petitioner claims to be in possession of the said land. The petitioner also states that on 28.10.2010 he made an application for issuance of pattadar passbooks and title deeds to the first respondent and when the first respondent did not take any action, he filed the present Writ Petition.

Learned Government Pleader, on the basis of the instructions, submits that no such application is found in the records of the first respondent.

In view of the above statement made by the learned Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of giving

liberty to the petitioner to approach the first respondent with appropriate application under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
