THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K.JAISWAL CRIMINAL PETITION No.6680 OF 2010 ORDER:- This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.22 of 2009 on the file of the Special Judge for Trial of Cases arising under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 at Warangal, which was taken on file for the offence punishable under Section 3(1)(X) of the said Act.

2. On 13.7.2010, this Court granted interim stay for a period of one month. Thereafter, the stay was not extended. Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the trial in the Court below continued and ultimately, the aforementioned Sessions Case was disposed of and the petitioner/accused has been acquitted for the said charge. In that view of the matter, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Petition.

3. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
