ORDER
This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondent authorities in not taking any action on the representation of the petitioner dated 8.4.2013 to stop payment of the terminal benefits pertaining to his late son to the 3rd respondent.
This Court by order dated 29.4.2013 directed the respondents not to disburse 50% of the death benefits of the petitioner's deceased son, if not already released. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that after passing the said order, the petitioner and the 3rd respondent compromised the matter, whereunder it was agreed to give an amount of Rs.2,20,000/- to the petitioner out of 50% of the balance amount to be released by the respondents.
Recording the said submission in the presence of the petitioner and the 3rd respondent, who appeared before this Court, the Writ Petition is closed. The respondents are directed either to release balance 50% of the amount as aforesaid to the petitioner and the 3rd respondent on their furnishing their respective bank details, or to the 3rd respondent subject to her giving an undertaking that she will pay the agreed amount to the petitioner. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
