Petitioner is presently working as Civil Assistant Surgeon in Rural Health Centre, Patancheru, Hyderabad. She submitted representation, dated 25.11.2016, to the Director of Medical Education, State of Telangana, Koti, Hyderabad, the 1st respondent, with a request to post her on teaching side as Assistant Professor in General Surgery. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed. 2.

Petitioner has a substantive grievance on the issue of her allocation, as a consequence to the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act, 2014. Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in allotting her to the State of Andhra Pradesh, she filed W.P.No.4560 of 2017. By order dated 13.02.2017 in W.P.M.P.No.5506 of 2017, this Court directed final allocation of the petitioner should be made following all other conditions stipulated in the guidelines.

Since the petitioner sought posting on the teaching side and the same appears to be pending with the 1st respondent, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation, dated 25.11.2016, submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
