O R D E R

This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 03.03.2015 passed by this Court in W.P.No.33647 of 2010. By the said order, this Court directed the Commissioner of Wanaparthy Municipality, Mahaboobnagar District, to give notice to the petitioners herein and, taking note of the finding and observation of the Hon'ble Lokayukta and also considering the records and hearing them, to pay any amount found due and payable with interest thereon at 9% per annum. Though some amount has been paid to the petitioners pursuant to the aforestated order, Dr.J.Vijaya Lakshmi, learned counsel for the petitioners, would contend that the Commissioner failed to ascertain the total amounts due in relation to the contract executed by the husband of the first petitioner and therefore, liberty may be granted to the petitioners to work out their remedies before the competent Civil Court.
