THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION (TR).No.250 OF 2017 ORDER:
Pursuant to the recruitment notification No.40 of 2008 for Group IV Category of posts in the State Government Service, which recruitment is based on District as Unit, petitioner applied to the post of Junior Assistant in Nizamabad District as a local candidate of Nizamabad District. In Junior Assistant cadre, ten vacancies were notified in Nizamabad District, out of which five vacancies were notified in open category. In the counter affidavit filed by the District Collector, Nizamabad, it is stated that the petitioner has secured 141 marks and was assigned rank No.2341. The last selected candidate, who belongs to open category, secured 221 marks and therefore the petitioner was not selected for the said post. 3.
