Petition under Section 482 of BNSS praying that in the circumstances stated in the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition, the High Court may be pleased to enlarge the Petitioner herein/Accused No. 2 on Anticipatory bail in the event of her arrest in Crime No. 143812024 on the file of Narsingi Police Station. Ranga Reddy District for the offences registered under Section 80 BNS Act. This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri V Nitesh, Advocate for the Petitioner and Sri M Ramachandra Reddy, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent.

Apprehending arrest in Crime No'1438 of 2024 of P'S' Narsingi, registered for the offence under Section 80 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner/accused No'2 has come up with this application for anticipatory bail' Heard Sri V.Nitesh, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri M.Ramachandra Reddy, learned Additional Public Prr:secutor appearing for the State and perused the record'
3. The petitioner/accused No'2 is the mother-in-law of deceased No.]. The allegation against the petitioner/accused No.2 is that she along with her son/accused No'l has harassed deceased No.l demanding additional dowry' Unable to bear such harassment, deceased No.l, along with her daughter/deceased No.2, has committed suicide'

Learned counsel for petitioner/accused No.2 submits that i the petitioner/accused No.2 has never abetted or instigated the
ts,I Crl.P.No.72689 of2024 deceased to commit suicide and she has been falsely implicated in this case, only on the basis of assumptions and presumptions of de facto complainant. It is further contended that there are no specific allegations against the petitioner/accused No.2 and the petitioner/accused No.2 is aged 65 years and suffering with old age ailments, and hence, prayed to grant anticipatory bail.
5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on the other hand, opposed the application stating that there are specific allegations against the petitioner/accused No.2. He further submits that investigation is in progress and if the petitioner/ accused No.2 is released on bail at this stage, she may tamper with the evidence and may threaten the witnesses, and hence, prayed to dismiss the petition.

Taking note of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and considering the gravity and seriousness of the offence, this criminal petition is dismissed, granting liberty to the petitioner/accused No.2 to surrender before the Court concerned and file an application for regular \ \
