Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner has an effective alternative remedy to file an appeal against the impugned order directing confiscation of the petitioner's motor cycle.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed giving liberty to the petitioner to avail the effective alternative remedy of appeal as available under law. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand dismissed.
