Heard.

The grievance of the petitioners in this writ petition is with regard to release of their Special Grade/Stagnation increment on completion of 12 years of service.

When the matter is taken up, though, learned standing counsel also agree that similar writ petitions are disposed of, he only requests that instead of issuing straight away positive direction, a direction to consider the claim of the petitioners be granted.

Having regard to the earlier orders of this Court, this writ petition is also disposed of directing the respondent-Corporation to consider the claim of the petitioners for grant of Special Grade/Stagnation increment on completion of 12 years of service by computing the total period of service rendered by them, without reference to the regions in which services were rendered and if they are eligible, the same shall be granted to them. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
