HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.21483 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard.

The grievance of the petitioner is only with regard to deletion of his name and entering the name of the 5th respondent in the revenue records with regard to the land admeasuring Ac.0-50 cents in Sy.No.526 situated at Pedakurpadu Village and Mandal, Guntur District. The petitioner has already made appropriate application to the 3rd respondent by marking copies to the 4th respondent and to other authorities and the said application is stated to be pending from 18-05-2015 with the said authorities. The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of the 4th respondent in mutating the name of the 5th respondent in the place of the petitioner for the aforesaid land.

I am afraid this writ petition cannot be entertained directly as under the provisions of A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, the petitioner has to approach the competent authority and seek amendment in the revenue records. Since the petitioner has already made appropriate application before respondents 3 and 4 on 18-05-2015 as referred to above, it is for the competent authority to look into the said application and after notice to the 5th respondent, take up an enquiry and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR, J Date: 13-07-2015 Prv
