Petitioners claim that they purchased land to an extent of Acs.6.21 guntas in Survey No.309, Acs.10.24 guntas in Survey No.310 and Acs.8.32 guntas in Survey No.311, situated at Thangadpally Village, Choutuppal Mandal, Yagadri Bhongir District. They filed application before the Tahsildar, Choutuppal Mandal, for mutation of their names in the revenue records. According to them, the application filed through Mee-Seva was received and the same was assigned application No.TTMU021701249002 vide receipt No.0443647, dated 03.05.2017. Petitioners claim that so far no decision is taken on their application. Hence, this Writ Petition. 3.

The Writ Petition is disposed of, without entering into the merits of the issue, directing the Tahsildar, Choutuppal Mandal, to examine the claim of the petitioners for grant of mutation of their names in the revenue records by following due procedure as required by law, provided that their application is pending and the same is made for the purpose of mutation of their names in the revenue records. The decision to this extent shall be taken and communicated by assigning due reasons in support of the decision, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
