THE HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.12371 of 2016 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner / accused under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code seeking quashment of proceedings in FIR in Crime No.757 of 2016 of Station House Officer, LB Nagar Law and Order Police Station, registered for the offence under Section 354 (a) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has submitted a copy of Letter dated 09.11.2018 wherein the Sub-Inspector of Police, LB Nagar Police Station mentioned that the investigation is completed and charge sheet has been filed before learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, LB Nagar on 29.09.2016. The same is recorded.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is already been defeated, no purpose would survive to proceed with this Criminal Petition and the same has become infructuous. 05.

In view of the above, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
