HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO TRANSFER CRIMINAL PETITION No. 118 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 407 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A3 & A4 seek to transfer CC No. 241 of 2011 pending on the file of Special Judicial First Class Magistrate for PCR Cases Court, Warangal District to the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Khammam or any competent Court at Khammam, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 13.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, W.P.S., Warangal District and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 15.09.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to transfer CC No. 241 of 2011 to any other competent Court, has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
