ORDER

This criminal petition under sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner-A1 seeking to grant bail in connection with Cr.No.76 of 2015 of V. Madugula Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 20(b)(1) read with Section 8(c) of NDPS Act.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. It is alleged that on 29.06.2015, on information, the police officials reached the outskirts of Satyavarama Village and found two persons with 6 gunny bags containing 120 Kgs of ganja for the purpose of illegal transportation.

4. Though petitioner sought for bail on medical grounds, the certificate produced by him reveals that he was already under treatment. Since the contraband seized from the possession of the accused is a commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to him.
