Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order, direction particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to investigate into F.l.R. No. 80 of 2022 on the file of Jeedimetla Police Station and to file Charge Sheet against all the culprits forthwith and prosecute them in accordance with law IA NO: 1 OF 2023 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to investigate into F.l.R. HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V. BHASKAR REDDY IIRIT PETITION No.31276 of 2023 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed praying this Court to direct the respondents-police to investigate into FIR No.BO of 2022 on the file of Jeedimetla Police Station and to lile charge sheet against all the culprits and prosecute them in accordance with law.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint before respondent No.2 and acting on the said complaint, a case in Crime No.BO of 2022, dated 24.01.2022 was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 324 and 506 r/w 34 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that even though Crime No.8O of 2022 was registered on 24.01.2022, the respondents-police are not conducting fair and proper investigation and filing final report/charge sheet against the accused persons therein before the concerned Court.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.l and 2, has submitted that soon after registration of a case in Crime No.8O of 2022, the

respondents-police have conducted investigation and after concluding investigation, they have filed final report before the concerned Court on 29.O3.2O22.

4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that so far the petitioner has not received any closure report and if the copy of the closure report 1S furnished, he will take appropriate steps by approaching the competent forum 5.

In view of the said submissions, this Court, deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing respondent No.2 to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two (2) weeks from today, to enable him to ta-ke appropriate steps as available under law.

6. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
