This Writ Petition is filed feeling aggrieved by the action of respondent No.3 in proposing to lay a drainage line measuring 35 feet x 4 feet in Gollagudem Revenue Village, Punadipadu Post, Kankipadu Mandal, Krishna District, as illegal and arbitrary.

On the petitioner's own showing, the land, over which the drainage line is proposed to be laid, is part of Gramakantam Porambok, over which the petitioners have not raised any construction whatsoever.

Unless the petitioners have been utilising the Gramakantam Porambok by raising structures, they cannot prevent respondent No.3 from using the same, that too, for a public purpose viz., construction of drainage outside the sites, over which the petitioners have constructed their respective houses.

In this view of the matter, I do not find any merit in this Writ Petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.

As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.54656 of 2015, filed by the petitioners for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous. ______________________
