Petitioner is a fair price shop dealer of shop No.14 of N.N.Kunta village, Anantapur Mandal, Anantapur District. The petitioner was given show cause notice cum order of suspension dated 25.08.2014 with regard to fair price shop held by her. Explanation was required to be submitted by the petitioner within 15 days.

Petitioner states that she has submitted her explanation on 09.09.2014 itself denying the charges and irregularities alleged against her. The present writ petition is therefore filed after complaining of inaction on the part of the fourth respondent in passing appropriate orders with reference to the show cause notice and the explanation submitted by the petitioner. Learned Government Pleader for civil supplies takes notices and states that appropriate orders are expeditiously passed by the respondents.

In the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the fourth respondent to take into consideration the explanation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as referred to above. In any case, the said exercise will be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No order as to costs. The status quo existing as on today shall continue till appropriate order as directed above will be passed by the fourth respondent. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
