Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for respondent No.2.

Petitioner is working as Executive Engineer. Having secured such promotion under Scheduled Tribe category, petitioner is now seeking promotion to the post of Superintending Engineer as per the rule of reservation in promotions for Scheduled Tribe category. According to the petitioner, there are number of vacancies in Superintending Engineer category and there is inadequacy in representation in the promotional posts. Claiming promotion petitioner submitted representation on 15.05.2018 followed by another representation on 18.06.2018. Alleging inaction on the said representations, this writ petition is filed. 3.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel agrees for disposing of the writ petition, with a direction to pass orders on the representations made by the petitioner on 15.05.2018 and 18.06.2018.

Having regard to the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Managing Director, A.P.State Housing Corporation Limited -2nd respondent to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner on 15.05.2018 and 18.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of

- 3 - receipt of copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
