HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.2010 of 2018 ORDER:

The present Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act stating that the respondent has willfully and deliberately disobeyed the order dated 24.01.2018 passed in W.P.No.44695 of 2017.

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri S.Arifulla, Standing Counsel for Wakf Board, represented that pursuant to a representation made, the request of the petitioner was considered and rejected vide Memo F.No.S41/ GNT/ 2018, dated 22.06.2018. In view of the submission made, no order needs to be passed and accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed, giving liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedies available under law. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
