SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.8110 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is A1, in Crime No.60 of 2018 on the file of Shyampet Police Station, Warangal Commissionerate. The offences alleged are under Sections 406 and 420 r/w 34 IPC.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

As per the case of the prosecution, the petitioner collected amounts from the victims, on the pretext of providing job in the railways and the amount collected is also a huge amount, being rupees four lakhs. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the amounts were collected sixteen months back. But, that shall not be a ground to grant anticipatory bail. Since, the amount was alleged to be collected on the ground that jobs would be provided and it is natural that the victims would wait for a considerable time and when the accused fail in their promise, they would resort to lodging complaint against him. The learned public prosecutor submits that the investigation is still in progress. 4.

Hence, considering the above, this court opines that it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed. _____________ T.RAJANI, J 17.08.2018 SS
