THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.2816 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners-A4 and A5 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.1 of 2014 on the file of Women Police Station, CCS, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC and 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that the investigation agency had completed the investigation and filed charge-sheet before the Court concerned. In that view of the matter, the cause in this Criminal Petition does not survive for adjudication. 3.

Therefore, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioners-A4 and A5 are given liberty to work out appropriate remedies before appropriate forum, in accordance with law, if they choose to do so. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
