B/o lur I.A.No.2 of 2025 (Extension Petition) This application is filed by the petitioner/accused in Crime No.239 of 2014 of Dharmasagar Police Station, Warangal District, seeking extension of time to surrender before the concerned Station House Officer for a further period of four weeks, pursuant to the orders passed by this Court in Crl.P.No.12781 of 2024 and I.A.No.1 of 2025.

Heard Mr. V.Durga Nageswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Syed Yasar Mamoon, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent/State. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is sole accused in Crime No.239 of 2014 of Dhramasagar Police Station, Warangal District and he approached this Court by filing Crl.P.No.12781 of 2024 for grant of anticipatory bail. This Court allowed the said application on 06.01.2025 and directed the petitioner to surrender before the Station House Officer concerned within a period of two weeks from 06.01.2025. The said period was extended by order dated 30.01.2025 in I.A.No.1 of 2025. As the petitioner is abroad, he could not surrender before the concerned Station House Officer within the time stipulated by this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

petitioner would appear before the Station House Officer concerned within a period of three weeks from today. Unless this Court extends the time to comply with the condition of appearance before the Station House Officer concerned, as imposed by this Court while granting anticipatory bail, the petitioner will be put to grave hard ship.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has not opposed the same.

In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and for the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, this application is allowed and time granted by this Court to the petitioner for appearing before the Station House Officer, Dharmasagar Polilce Station, vide order dated 06.01.2025 passed in the criminal petition as extended vide order 30.01.2025 in I.A.No.1 of 2025 is extended further. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Station House Officer concerned within a period of three weeks from today.

It is made clear that the petitioner is not entitled to file another application seeking further extension of time. _________ JSR, J Note:
