HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 21853 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development and Sri T.Sudhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the disconnection notice No.4, Docket No.2, dt. 25.06.2016 for CAN No.614608285 issued by the second respondent directing the petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.2,10,644/- towards the water dues at non-domestic rate, as illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice; and consequently set aside the same.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioners made a representation on 05.05.2016 but till date no orders are passed on the said representation. Learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2 states that there is any amount of doubt whether the said representation was received in the office of respondent No.2.

Having regard to the circumstances stated above and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to pass orders on the representation dated 05.05.2016, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of the order subject to the payment of all the dues. If the

said representation is not available in the office of respondent No.2, the petitioner is permitted to make a fresh application before the Chief Manager of the concerned Division within one week from today, in which event the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. It is needless to mention that the entire exercise should be completed within three weeks, Till such time status quo as on today shall be maintained. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
